Bantam B - 2014 Provincial Championships

How can you put into words the experience of a lifetime? For the Bantam B Nepean Wildcats and their proud parents and coaches, that is what took place this past weekend in Vaughan, Ontario at the 2014 Ontario Provincial Championships. 18 teams went into the weekend with hopes and dreams and when the final buzzer sounded in the Gold Medal Game, Wildcat Nation erupted into a celebration not soon to be forgotten! The girls secured a quarterfinal berth out of a tough pool that included Clearview, Whitby and past tournament rivals Georgina. Sudbury, Stoney Creek (Hamilton) and South Point (Windsor) each provided extremely tough challenges but very strategic time-outs from Coach Marc kept the girls calm and focus when they needed it most. They found new levels of poise and determination and refused to be denied the ultimate prize … they brought fire, they brought fight, they represented the red, black, and white, they used power, they used speed and they proved to the world they are Ontario’s Best Team!!! Way to go Wildcats!!! A million thanks to coach Marc Switalski and his staff for an amazing weekend and an amazing season. The girls made us all proud and gave us memories which will last a lifetime.
